Hi there, fellow memory keeper! These are the simple, fair guidelines we both agree to follow to make Kapti a safe, warm space for all your tiny glowing everyday moments. No fine print, no confusing jargon—just our shared promise to take care of the memories that matter to you.
✨ Our Promise To You
- No account creation or login is required to access all core Kapti features. You can start documenting your moments the second you download the app, no personal information asked for.
- All your memory capsule content (photos, notes, mood tags, reflections) belongs 100% to you. We will never access, view, share, or use your private content for any purpose unless you explicitly choose to share it with us for feedback or support requests.
- Your content is stored locally on your device by default. We will never upload your private memories to our servers without your explicit, intentional permission.
- We will keep Kapti free of intrusive ads, unrelated notifications, and cluttered interfaces. The warm amber and olive design you love will always stay as the core experience, no random overhauls that break your documenting flow.
- Basic memory creation, editing, and browsing features will always be free for everyone. Any optional paid features will be clearly marked, and will only add extra functionality (like custom themes, advanced export options) without locking core features behind a paywall.
Important note: Since your content is stored locally on your device by default, we recommend you regularly export your memory capsules or back them up to your preferred cloud storage service. We cannot recover lost content if you delete the app, lose your device, or clear app data without backing up first.
🤍 Your Part Of The Agreement
- Kapti is built for storing your personal life memories. Please only add content that you own or have explicit permission to save (for example, photos of friends you've taken with their consent, shared inside jokes you're both happy to document).
- Don't use Kapti to store content that hurts, exploits, or violates the privacy of other people. This space is for your gentle, personal memories—please keep it kind.
- If you choose to share your memory capsules publicly or with other people, you are responsible for what you share, and making sure everyone included in the content is comfortable with it being shared.
- We love hearing your feedback! If you run into bugs, have feature requests, or want to share how Kapti has helped you, you're welcome to reach out anytime. We read every message we get.
🔄 Updates To This Agreement & App Changes
- We may occasionally update these guidelines as we add new features to Kapti. If we make changes, we will notify you in the app at least 30 days before the new guidelines take effect.
- If you don't agree with updated guidelines, you can stop using Kapti at any time, and delete all your content directly from your device with one tap in the app settings.
- We may retire old, rarely used features from time to time, but we will always give you the option to export all content related to those features before they are removed, so you never lose your memories.
